The Dr. Phillips Center and Florida Hospital announced a partnership to create an arts and wellness educational facility and program. The Dr. Phillips Center School of Arts will now be the Dr. Phillips Center Florida Hospital School of Arts & Wellness.
John Kinser is the first patient in Central Florida and among the first in the state to receive the CardioMEMS HF System, a wireless sensor that allows physicians to monitor their patient’s heart remotely. CardioMEMS is the first FDA-approved heart failure monitoring device that has been proven to significantly reduce hospital admissions when used by physicians to manage heart failure.
