Unique Spa for Cancer Patients to Open at Florida Hospital Altamonte

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla., August 22, 2011- Florida Hospital Altamonte recently announced plans to open an Eden: The Spa for Image Discovery location in early 2012. Eden Spa is a full-service salon and spa that specializes in therapeutic services for cancer patients.  As the only spa in Central Florida focusing on services specifically for cancer patients, the spa offers treatments that renew the spirit and rejuvenate the body.

In addition to spa services, Eden provides hair enhancements and headware, mastectomy and post-surgical bras and forms for women who are about to undergo surgery. Eden also offers out-patient lymphedema therapy and ready-to-wear or custom compression garments, which help to reduce swelling, control pain and encourage lymph fluid flow in the body.

Eden Spa at Florida Hospital Altamonte will be the second Eden Spa location in Central Florida through the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute.
