ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 1, 2009 - On the exciting day that the University of Central Florida football
team receives their bowl game bid, the players and Head Coach George O'Leary stepped
off the field to spread cheer through the halls of Florida Hospital for Children today, during a
special holiday tradition. The UCF football players enjoyed fun festivities with the pediatric
patients by playing Wii games, signing autographs and giving away UCF Football souvenirs. It
was an unforgettable black & gold holiday celebration, as the UCF team visited their little fans!
"Hanging out with the kids makes us really feel blessed," said UCF football team captain Rocky Ross. "We respect these kids for what they go through every day. It's good for everyone on the team - in a way, you realize how lucky you are and it's a great way to give back. It's probably going to be a quiet bus ride home today."
