Event Date:
April 21, 2010 (All day)

Alzheimer's disease is an irreversible, progressive brain disease that slowly destroys memory and thinking skills and, eventually, the ability to carry out the simplest tasks of daily living. In most people, symptoms first appear after age 60.

According to the National Institute on Aging, as many as 2.4 million to 4.5 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease.

As part of Florida Hospital's Distinguished Lecture Series, the community is invited to a town hall event to learn from renowned experts about this common disease.
