Neurosurgery Program

  • Our physicians provide a wide range of neurosurgery options to adult and pediatric patients, including: minimally invasive brain and spine surgery, Gamma Knife Radio surgery, image-guided endoscopic endonasal surgery, cerebrovascular surgery, craniofacial surgery, and many others.
  • On average, we perform over 2,400 neurosurgeries annually. 

Stroke Center

  • Florida Hospital developed the first Primary Stroke Center in Central Florida.
  • We treat the most stroke patients in Central Florida annually.

Interventional Neuroradiology

  • Florida Hospital was the first facility in Central Florida to offer interventional neuroradiology (INR) treatment of cerebrovascular disorders, such as aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations and stroke.
  • Florida Hospital is the only hospital system in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties that provides 24/7 interventional neuroradiology coverage.

Spine Center

  • The experienced spine care team at Florida Hospital Neuroscience Institute includes a coordinated approach from neurosurgeons, pain medicine physicians, spine care coordinators, and rehabilitation specialists.
  • On average, we perform more than 1,500 complex spine surgeries at the Florida Hospital Neuroscience Institute.
