Neurologist Known Globally for Groundbreaking Conjoined Twin Separation Speaks at Florida Hospital

Life of Dr. Ben Carson was recently documented in TNT movie "Gifted Hands"

ORLANDO, Fla., May 20, 2009 - Hundreds of people flocked to Florida Hospital Wednesday to hear the inspirational life story of Dr. Ben Carson.  As part of Florida Hospital's distinguished lecture series, Dr. Carson spoke to the community about his journey from a single parent home to one of the most respected pediatric neurologists in the world. He is best known for his groundbreaking separation of conjoined twins that were attached at the back of the head.  The separation was the first surgery of its kind back in 1987.  That story is chronicled in the film "Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story" that is airing all month on TNT.  For more information on the film, click here.
