- Expansion of the Alden Street parking garage - additional 486 spaces
- New parking garage on McRae Street - additional 1,240 spaces
Florida Hospital Bed Count:
- Ginsburg Tower bed count: 440 (200 now, 240 for future growth)
- Existing Florida Hospital system bed count (not including Ginsburg Tower): more than 2,000 throughout the eight campuses
Floor Descriptions:
- Ground floor: Emergency Department, Lakeside Café, Radiology, access to existing hospital (used to transport supplies, patients, food and linen between two towers)
- 1st floor: Atrium lobby, Chapel, Marketplace Shops, Cardiology, Creation Conference Center, public access to existing hospital
- 2nd floor: Chest Pain Observation Unit, Cardiovascular Invasive Labs, access to existing hospital (used to transport patients between the two towers)
- 3rd floor: Shelled space
- 4th & 5th floors: Intensive Care Units (ICU)
- 6th, 7th & 8th floors: Progressive Care Units (PCU)
- 9th - 14th floors: Shelled space for future expansion
Elevators:
- Three public elevators with access to main lobby, located at North end
- Four service elevators for patient, staff and service movement, located at mid-point on each floor
Public Spaces & Conference Facilities:
- Main lobby: connects the existing north tower to the new Ginsburg Tower
- Chapel: located off the atrium lobby with a view of Lake Estelle
- Lakeside Café: indoor and outdoor dining provides relaxed setting for staff and visitors; features vegetarian cuisine
- Marketplace retail: 3,300 square feet - gift shop, select groceries, pharmacy, coffee shop, health and wellness section, floral and concierge service
- Creation Conference Center: made up of six classrooms; holds 350 total seats; has pre-function space and pantry
- Werner Auditorium: fully integrated, high-tech area; seating for 160; nearly all funded by employee donations
- Icon conference rooms: state-of-the-art conference areas are located on each operating floor of the "icon," providing meeting space specifically for staff on that particular floor
