Florida Hospital's Oviedo Children's Health Center Welcomes New Doctor

OVEIDO, Fla., March 15, 2007 - Florida Hospital's Oviedo Children's Health Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Aneesa Ahmad to its medical staff. She joins Dr. Pallavi Deliwala, Dr. Sadiq Mandani,  and Dr. Sonia Rico.  Dr. Ahmad has been in private practice for 25 years in the Central Florida area and completed her pediatric residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center.

All four pediatricians serve as faculty members for Florida Hospital's Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency Program, headquartered at Florida Hospital East Orlando. As teachers, they emphasize patient education and are up-to-date on all the latest treatments, procedures, and standards of care.

The Oviedo Children's Health Center provides comprehensive and complex pediatric care to children ages birth through 17, including sick visits, well baby care, adolescent care, routine vaccinations, asthma, ADD/ADHD, circumcisions, follow-up visits for premature births, and school/sports physicals. In addition, the center offers after-hours and weekend phone advice from physicians, ear piercing, separate waiting rooms for well and sick patients, and same-day appointments for sick visits. The office accepts most health insurance plans and offers free "meet-the-doctor" and office tour appointments.
