Florida Hospital Kissimmee Expands Services with New Outpatient Tower

The new building will provide a comprehensive space for outpatient services

KISSIMMEE, Fla. June 18, 2010 - Florida Hospital Kissimmee opened its new three-story outpatient tower that will provide the community with more comprehensive services and offices for specialized physicians. Outpatient services such as imaging, rehabilitation, lab work and IV therapy have been relocated to the new 85,000 square-foot building.

"As the Osceola County community grows, Florida Hospital Kissimmee works hard to plan for growth and the increasing demands for health care," said Bill Haupt, administrator of Florida Hospital Kissimmee. "The new outpatient tower ensures the community that our services are readily available and convenient."

The new imaging center includes digital mammography, 4-D ultrasound, CT, X-ray, DEXA and MRI scans, offering all imaging services in one stop. The new imaging center provides easy access to comprehensive services in one location to fulfill outpatient needs quickly.

The opening of the new medical office building allows Florida Hospital to facilitate the Osceola community's health care needs. In continuing renovations, Florida Hospital is committed to providing accessible health care to the growing population. The main entrance of the hospital will be relocated to the new building's lobby as Florida Hospital Kissimmee plans to continue expansion.
