Florida Hospital East Orlando Welcomes Dr. Zamip Patel

Dr. Patel is one of a few andrologists, or male fertility experts, in Orlando 

ORLANDO, Fla., March 3, 2011 - Florida Hospital East Orlando is pleased to announce that Dr. Zamip Patel is joining the medical staff as one of only a handful of board certified urologists and fellowship trained andrologists in Central Florida.  Dr. Patel specializes in general male infertility problems, from the management of semen abnormalities to advanced microsurgeries that can correct problems that have existed since birth.  The addition of Dr. Patel allows Florida Hospital to provide high quality andrology care for the men of Central Florida.

Prior to joining Florida Hospital East Orlando, Dr. Patel attended Ross University School of Medicine in the Commonwealth of Dominica, West Indies and completed a residency in urology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York.  He completed his Andrology Fellowship at University of Illinois in Chicago. 

Dr. Patel has extensive training and educational background in both urology and andrology. He has articles awaiting publication in peer-reviewed journals and has also presented nationally at medical symposiums.  He has participated in numerous Mount Sinai Grand Rounds on various urology topics and was chosen to be a guest speaker for Chicago Urologic Society in 2009.
