ORLANDO, Fla., April 21, 2006 - Enrollment at Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences (FHCHS) is growing each year, creating an extreme need for more classroom and laboratory space. That is why the College has built a new Campus Center.
The new three-floor, 64,500-square-foot Campus Center will house 10 new classrooms, five labs for biology and allied health programs, administrative offices, service departments, a campus bookstore, student services, a student lounge, financial services, and a student success center.
"This new Campus Center at Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences represents the future of our College as we continue to grow and expand," said David Greenlaw, president of FHCHS. "By building this Center, we will be able to meet the needs of more students and train more professionals for the healthcare industry."
The College opened in 1992 with 243 students. Today, the student body is made up of more than 2,000 students. FHCHS offers programs in nursing, health sciences, nuclear medicine technology, occupational therapy assistant, radiography, sonography, and pre-professional studies.
