Florida Hospital Apopka Hosts Second Annual Vision 2020 Fundraiser 

APOPKA, Fla., July 24, 2007 - Florida Hospital Apopka is gearing up for its second annual fundraising event to benefit its Vision 2020 campaign to become a full-service hospital by the year 2020. 

This year's event will be themed around the "Shades of Autumn" and will be held on Sunday, September 16, from 5-9 p.m. at the Apopka Community Center. 

The evening will feature entertainment, silent and live auctions, and a four-course dinner catered by Arthur's.  Offering an exceptional evening of fun and food, the event is expected to attract more than 500 attendees.

Last year's inaugural event raised more than $80,000 for Florida Hospital Apopka.  All proceeds from the event support Florida Hospital Apopka's goal of becoming a full-service community hospital by the year 2020, including the expansion of emergency services by adding beds and technology, the building of a general surgery program, and the construction of a new high-tech contemporary patient tower.
