Florida Hospital Altamonte, a 341-bed acute-care hospital in Altamonte Springs, was established in 1973 as Florida Hospital’s first satellite campus and continues to be the leading healthcare provider in Seminole County.
Florida Hospital is operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It serves as a community hospital for Greater Orlando and as a major tertiary referral hospital for Central Florida and much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America.
