ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 13, 2007 - Thanks to four-year-old Alex Medeiros, pediatric patients at Florida Children's Hospital at Florida Hospital received a brand new Care BearTM while in the hospital. Alex recently won $500 dollars in a talent competition and wanted to do something good with the money. He decided to buy as many Care BearsTM as he could and donate them to children going through a tough time. Alex has been able to purchase more than 600 brand new Care BearsTM and donated them all to the little patients at Florida Children's Hospital.
